The short version: we keep only what the product needs, you control who sees every track, and nothing here is for sale.
What we collect
Just your email and name when you sign up, plus whatever you put on your tracks yourself: dates, captions, photos, updates. That's really it. We're not logging your browsing history, pulling your contacts, or tracking your location.
Who can see your track
You decide, track by track. Make it public and anyone with the link can view it (and we might use it as an example on this site). Make it unlisted and only the people you send the link to will ever find it. Make it private and it's locked behind a password, and we only ever store a hash of that password, never the password itself.
Followers don't need accounts
Anyone following along doesn't have to sign up for anything. We don't build a profile on them. The most we keep is the same kind of server log any website keeps.
What we won't do
We won't sell your data, hand it to advertisers, or feed your photos and updates into training a model. There's no advertising on Track With Us, so there's no reason to be trading in your attention.
Deleting your data
Delete a track and everything on it (updates, photos, all of it) goes with it. Delete your account and the same goes for everything you made. If something sticks around that shouldn't, email us and we'll clear it out by hand.
